The Wizard of Oz is Cosmic Humanist because all of the creatures had to look within themselves to get what they wanted. For example, the lion wanted courage and all throughout the movie he was searching for it when all this time he had it within himself, he just had to find it within himself and bring it out. Along with Dorothy, all the while she was stuck in Oz and wanted to go home, she could've just tapped her shoes. There was no ultimate god in the movie but everyone acted as if they were their own god at the end.
