When one is searching for a worldview in a text, you should look for the style the author takes to and how he writes. Also, you should watch for the tone. The worldview of the Wizard of Oz is from a cosmic humanism perspective. The lion, for example, thought he was a coward and didn't deserve to be a lion, but at the end, he found his strength. Therefore, he 'became a god'. Same with the big guy at the end, he seemed to portray himself as god.
